But fear not! The mere fact that I am even telling you all about this means that my interest in Sims 3 has been rekindled. And now is the perfect time to set in motion my ideas for next, hopefully creative, legacy!

Also, I realized a good portion of the pictures are broken because I switched domains, so I am going to go back and fix those so people can still read the legacy.

Firstly, I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving, if you celebrated it. And then had a great Black Friday afterwards. (I did, lol.)

Secondly, the semester is wrapping up and finals are next week I think. But actually the big time sink that is causing me not to be able to play is the last project I have left which is this graphic novel group project. It kind of has to be done by Monday, even though it isn’t really due until the next Monday. So I have to draw like a demon for the next 3 days.

And that’s what’s going on!

Clara Forest. A smart, young high school girl with a bright future. Her parents had died when she was young, so she and her sister Heather were sent to live with her distant cousins, the O’Neil’s. Our hero, Brett, runs into her in the park in the center of town. She’s the prettiest girl he’s ever seen.

With his charming good looks and carefully styled hair to be just the right amount of messy, he finds Clara to be very receptive and is soon kissing her right there in public.

Cocky and sure of himself, Brett invites her back to his place.

Clara is thrilled that a stud like Brett has noticed her. She’s a drama geek at school and also works at the spa part time, which doesn’t leave her much time to flirt with the boys at school. Brett woos her into his bed where they lose their virginity to each other.

Grandma Rachel, however, notices Clara coming out from the back bedroom and gets suspicious. She recognizes the signs she missed with her own daughter Lucy and is determined that her grandson won’t be sucked into anything by some money-grubby floozy.

“You SLUT! How could you take advantage of my poor innocent grandson like that?! Don’t even THINK about trying to trap him into marriage with some baby that probably isn’t even his!”

“You are garbage! You are not good enough for my precious grandson! I want you out of my house and I don’t ever want to see your face again, you whore!”

She then went to find Brett.

“Brett! How could you?! That girl is a common slut! You need to break it off with her right now before she tries to trap you with some baby she had with some other guy she slept with! There’s no future with her at all! She’s trash and she’s not good enough for a Garcia!”

Brett, who is rather impressionable and who was just having a laugh with Clara and had formed no real bond of love with her, stopped by her house after school to do as his grandmother wished.

“Clara, it’s over between us! My grandmother said you’ve been sleeping around, and you’re a slut! I can’t be seen around with some whore!”

He left Clara there horrified, bewildered, and very embarrassed, since her whole family had witnessed the break up.

I also fixed the numbering on some of the chapters. Initially I had two chapter 56′s and then I changed the later one to 57 and put on 3 new chapters. However, when I initially messed up I had skipped chapter 55. So the previous chapters 56-60 have all moved back a number and the newest chapter is now the real 60 (as opposed to 61). If you understood all that, good. If you didn’t, it doesn’t really matter, lol.

I’ve heard that patches 1.6 and 1.7 have come out. 1.6 sounds really cool but I’ve heard that it has done horrible things to people’s machines so instead I am going to stick with 1.4 and the older versions of my mods until it settles down some. (But 1.6 sound so cool, right? What a shame.)

Seeing Adam marry Helen and have a baby so quickly made Lucy realize that her wedding to Loren was long overdue. Their son was already a teenager! Having a child out of wedlock as a teen and living with his father in sin was not looking good to her political supporters, so she decided it was high time that get married and hope her private life didn’t come under too much scrutiny. They called everyone up and invited them to the beach where her mother had married her father years ago.

The party didn’t go down without a hitch, though. Lynn, Loren’s evil brother, snuck up behind their father Rodney as he was talking to their sister Christie and nearly gave him a heart attack.

Adam wasn’t amused at the family’s antics and made sure that little Iris was safe with him or her grandmother the rest of the time.

Soon it was time for the happy couple to say their vows. Loren went first, promising to stay with Lucy no matter what.

Then it was Lucy’s turn and Loren was thrilled he had finally married the love of his life, since he was so Hopelessly Romantic.

It’s that time you’ve all been waiting for!

It’s Brett’s birthday!

His grandmother Rachel and his mother Lucy turn out to watch him grow up.

His new trait is Sexy.

Lucy has been doing very well in politics and has decided to run for the City Council of Sunset Valley. She puts on her best politician smile and goes out to campaign.

First she meets this guy, who is obviously in the military. She chats him up, telling him all about how the reforms she wants to pass will help out Sunset Valley’s veterans.

He thinks her ideas are great and donates a whopping $2,627 to her campaign fund!

In other news, Sheryl and Nathan (to jog everyone’s memory, Nathan is Rachel’s little brother, uncle to Lucy, etc.) have had their second baby!

It’s a girl that they named January Garcia, and she looks just like Nathan.

Their older son, Hunter, recently grew to Young Adult, and I think he is CUTE. I thought he was going to be kind of ugly his whole life but he is adorable.

I find him here, on the school’s play ground. Not in class. Skipping school. I was shocked. The only other time this has happened was when Rachel skipped a day of high school to work out. (Which I suspect was her actually queue-dropping because she is Absent-Minded.)

So Brett tries his hand at catching some butterflies. He caught one of these.

But this one got away from him.

I figured this skipping school thing was a fluke. And I sent him off to school and everyone off to work the next day. Then I see…

This. What. The. Hell.

Brett is in the playground again when he should be in class!

Brett has now missed two days of school in a row and is failing. So Lucy makes him do his homework where she can keep an eye on him and make sure he does it right.

The next day was the last day he went to elementary school and I made absolutely sure he got to class. But the teacher didn’t like him for missing so many days and despite doing his homework, she threw it out, like he had never even done it. And so Brett failed school.

It should be mentioned that yes, Helen is pregnant. These next pictures should be put to the montage music selection of your choice. I now present to you: Scenes From An Idealic Life.

While the family goes about their business, Helen spends most of her pregnancy outdoors fishing in the private pond. She isn’t nearly as good at this as Rachel was, but she diligently rises before the sun each morning to go out fishing.

All too soon labor pains start! Adam is at his new job at Doo Peas Towers, Rachel is at her new career at the science facility, Lucy is at her job at the Town Hall and Brett is at school! There’s no one home!!

Oh, except for Loren. His career as a musician makes him work evenings so he’s home and lazing around the house all day. He gets drafted to take Helen to the hospital.

They call Adam en route and he arrives at the hospital shortly after they arrive.

Adam and Helen have a baby girl they name Iris. She’s artistic and very brave, just like her grandma Rachel! Loren, Helen, and Adam all pile in the taxi and go home.

But Adam realizes that his childhood home is too crowded for two growing families. Since he isn’t the heir, Adam knows it is time for him to move out and make a life of his own with his wife and daughter. They move into this house down the street.

And this is little Iris! She looks just like Adam!

On a sidenote, Nathan and Sheryl are expecting their second baby, after many years!

Once again it is Helen who gets baby Brett set up for his birthday.

Brett celebrates his birthday alone in the workout room, since Helen is otherwise occupied.

She does feel very well and nearly vomits all over herself right in the workout room.

She just barely makes it to the toilet. I think I forgot to give Helen’s background. She’s a Loner like Adam and a Perfectionist. She’s Charismatic and Loves the Outdoors. And despite her Hydrophobia her lifetime wish is to Present the Perfect Aquarium.

Back to Brett, since I know you are anxious. Brett is pretty like a girl.

But we won’t let him walk around like a total pansy, so here he is with a baseball cap.
